What is a Pop-Up Card?
A pop-up card is a structure — part engineering, part design. Every fold, angle, and layer is calculated in software to move in a specific way when opened. The V-fold, the layer fold, the waterfall mechanism — these are mechanical decisions, not decorative ones. Each design goes through multiple rounds of prototyping before the movement feels right. Paper weight matters too — too thin and it bends, too thick and it won't fold cleanly.
Final versions are hand-assembled, one at a time. It is an intentionally slow one. And the result is a piece of stationery that makes people pause, touch, and wonder.
